Funding collaborative projects arising from the AEDRTC Think Tank
AEDRTC’s Researcher Seed Funding Grants help Think Tank attendees turn new ideas and connections into real, collaborative projects.
In 2025, four x $5,000 grants were awarded to Think Tank attendees for innovative projects, selected by our Independent Co-Pro Review Panel. See the 2025 recipients →
For 2026, we’re expanding the fund. Five x $5,000 grants are available exclusively to Think Tank 2026 attendees who submit a short proposal to support a project that advances their work, whether that’s a pilot study, a future funding bid, or co-design with people who’ll shape the research.
Register for Think Tank 2026 now to make sure you’re eligible to apply.
The lead applicant must be a researcher or other expert (for example, a clinician or a person with lived experience) who attends Think Tank 2026. You can apply as an individual or as a team, as long as the lead applicant attended.
Non-researchers are welcome to apply. You’ll need to build a competitive team that includes research expertise relevant to your project. Teams whose membership reflects co-production principles will be more competitive.
Funding can support any purpose that helps you in your role, for example:
Applications must include a high-level indicative budget showing how the funds will be spent.
Applications will be assessed by an independent review committee, with preference shown to proposals which align to AEDRTC's core work priorities.
