The PARDI is a semi-structured, multi-informant clinical assessment designed to diagnose Pica, Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), and Rumination Disorder according to DSM-5 criteria. Distinct versions were developed for children and young person/adult. Parent/carer versions are also available upon request.
What this tool is good for:
This tool is useful to assess and diagnose feeding disorders. It provides severity scales for Pica, ARFID, and Rumination Disorder, and profile scores across three domains of ARFID features: Sensory Sensitivity, Lack of Interest in Food or Eating, and Concern about Aversive Consequences.
