The Fear of Food Questionnaire (FFQ) is an 18-item self-report measure designed to assess fear and avoidance of food, as well as the impact of these fears on quality of life.

What this tool is good for:

This tool is useful for assessing fear of food in individuals with conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), vomit and choking phobias, and avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID).
