Food Acceptance and Awareness Questionnaire

The FAAQ is a self-report measure that assesses an individual’s acceptance of urges and cravings to eat, or the extent to which they might try to control or change those thoughts. The FAAQ produces a total score, as well as 2 subscale scores: (1) Acceptance, and (2) Willingness.

This tool is useful for assessing acceptance of food-related thoughts and urges, which can be important in understanding and treating eating disorders and obesity.
