The EDE-QS is a 12-item version of the original EDE-Q. The EDE-QS evaluates disordered eating symptoms over the past 7 days. Note there are alternative shorter versions of EDE-Q, the EDE-Q18 (Carey et al. 2019), EDE-Q8 (Kliem et al. 2016), and EDE-Q7 (Grilo et al. 2013).
