The EDE-Q is a self-report questionnaire based upon the EDE interview. It provides an indication of the frequency and severity of eating disorder symptoms.
What this tool is good for:
The EDE-Q is widely used in both clinical settings and research to assess and monitor eating disorder symptoms. It helps clinicians identify and quantify the severity of disordered eating behaviors and attitudes. The EDE-Q can also be used periodically to monitor changes in symptoms, making it useful for evaluating the effectiveness of treatments and interventions. This instrument may be used with anyone over the age of 14.
