Dusseldorf Orthorexia Scale

Authors

Friederike Barthels, Frank Meyer, Reinhard Pietrowsky (2015)

The Düsseldorf Orthorexia Scale (DOS) is a 10-item self-report questionnaire created to evaluate orthorexic eating behaviors, which involve an unhealthy fixation on healthy eating.

What this tool is good for:

The DOS can be used to identify individuals at risk for Orthorexia Nervosa. It evaluates obsessive thoughts about healthy eating and the impact of these behaviors on daily life.
