Marle dos Santos Alvarenga, Fernanda Baeza Scagliusi, Sonia Tucunduva Philippi (2010)

The Disordered Eating Attitude Scale (DEAS) is a self-administered questionnaire aimed at assessing disordered eating attitudes. It examines unusual beliefs, thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and relationships related to food.

What this tool is good for:

The DEAS is useful for identifying disordered eating patterns. It was innitially developed for adults, but it has since been validated for adolescents as well.
