The AES is a suite of food frequency questionnaires designed to assess dietary intake of adults over the past 3-6 months, including food and nutrient consumption, diet quality, and adherence to dietary guidelines. See the ACAES for a version developed for children and adolescents. The official website also provides references for administration in toddlers, and well as parental reporting.
